Do I need Renter's Insurance?
While all property owners carry insurance on their properties, these policies cover the owner’s property – not the tenants. To protect yourself in the event of fire, flood, or theft, you should obtain an apartment renter’s insurance policy from a reputable insurance company. These policies are the only way to ensure your belongings are covered in case of loss or damage.
